Awesome birthday bash!
I recently booked a big family get-together for my mum’s 80th and we had the best time! The Sunday roast was super delicious and the staff went above and beyond to make everything perfect. The manager, David, was so helpful! Just a bit cramped for dancing afterward, but we had a great time nonetheless.

My stay at The Clarendon was quite enjoyable, marked by exceptional hospitality and a well-appointed room. I appreciated the spaciousness of the apartment with a kitchen area, providing amenities like a washer-dryer and dishwasher. The location offered lovely views of the river and the mattress provided a good night's sleep. the dining experience was excellent, with a well-cooked breakfast and delectable dinner options, particularly the steaks and desserts.
The room felt a bit outdated, and there were minor maintenance issues.

The small double room was comfortable and pretty quiet, which was nice for a good night's sleep. The bed felt cozy, though it was just a small double, so a bit tight for two. decent for a quick stay, but the space is a bit limited. the bathroom had a strong smell of bleach that was pretty overpowering.

missingWrote a review on 31 Augriver viewsdecent baroverheated rooms
The bar area offers a decent selection of ales, cocktails, and Scotch, creating a nice atmosphere for unwinding. Located right on the banks of the Thames, it certainly has its charm, despite the more industrial surroundings.
The room temperature turned into an unbearable sauna, making it hard to get a decent night's sleep. With thin windows, I could hear every shout and blast of music from events or parties down below. it felt like a concert rather than a hotel stay. the decor seemed tired, and the bathroom needed some attention—how hard is it to fix a shower head holder? On top of that, the breakfast left much to be desired with very limited options and a pretty uninspired full English that would barely fill you up.

The food scene nearby is definitely worth a mention, with Wood Shed serving up some top-notch bites just a stone's throw away! the riverside location adds a charming vibe to your stay.
The pics promised a balcony view, but nah—no luck there! the utensils were a bit dodgy and not enough for a proper feast. Slightly uncomfortable bed didn't help either.

Great for a short getaway with friends
Had this lovely experience where the bar staff were friendly and we just clicked with Jack like he was family sharing stories over a couple of drinks that made the night memorable and the suite we got was ridiculous with its balcony and views of the river that just knocked my socks off
It wasn't exactly cheap but still palatable considering the room quality
